Videl first appeared in the "Great Saiyaman" saga.She is the daughter
of Mr.Satan,the "champion" of the world at martial arts.Videl began to train at martial arts from very young age.
When Gohan came to study at the "Orange Star High School" he saw
that there were many crimes at Satan City.Videl studied in his class too,and he recognized that she is a crimefighter,and
she always got a permission to go to the crime area even in the middle of a lesson.Gohan understood that Videl is much more
stronger than her father,but still it was too dangerous even for her to be a crimefighter.So,Bulma built a special uniform
for Gohan,so no one will recognize him when he fighting.He bagan to fight the crime,and he saved Videl herself many times.Videl
always wanted to reveal who is the "Great Saiyaman"(the nickname that Gohan used when he fights the crime)and she always suspected
that he was Gohan.
In the end,Gohan told this to Videl by mistake.She told him that
she won't reveal his secret only if he will participate in the world martial arts tournament,and if he will teach her how
to fly.He taught her how to fly,and then they met at the world tournament.Videl almost killed there by Spopovich,one of Babidi's
men,but Gohan gave her a Senzu bean.She asked him if he was the one who killed Cell 7 years ago,and he said that it was him.She
understood that her father is just a lier,and she began to love Gohan.She couldn't believe when Goku told her that Gohan died,and
her feelings were right that he is alive.After all the battles with Buu,we saw her as "Great Saiyaman 2 " fighting with Gohan
against the crimes,and in the end,they married and Pan was born to them.
